What is Nbyula?

and mentoring web platform which focuses on helping

Indian students study abroad using mostly

3 market verticals

Talks

A person can share their experiences about studying or working abroad to a group of users on a live session

Classrooms

user can host classes online, regarding study abroad. for instance, Language Training or IELTS

1-1 mentorship

A user who has/is studying abroad can mentor a study abroad aspirant

All the above had a

common interface post booking,

the

chat interface

  • Tapping on a talks from the left pane took the users to an unfamiliar interface!

    Topics can be a part of the conversation, and not the other way!

  • Dm’s and group convos had no differentiation and filtering wasnt an option!

    The chosen topic reflected as the header. But what if the user has to switch between topics?

    information was’nt sufficient for an Event

The Interface looked confusing, having no grouping between DM's or talks or classrooms.

The topic Navigation was not serving a purpose and was also bit of overwhelming and inducing FOMO & more…

the interface had more multiple Interaction issues as it was not designed keeping market verticals in mind for the V1

Considering all the issues above,

here is what I solved!

  • Better Differentiation of Group/1-1 Convos

    Collapsable and responsive list pane

    ability to switch between / create multiple topics seamlessly

    All the details to the registered event,+ Link to the join the event!

  • Reinstation of membership

    Better search accessibility

    Channel Visibility

    a CTA to open up the profile details of the mentor/mentee.
